Prior to his real estate career, Bruce was known as the local farrier (maker and fitter of horseshoes) to seek out for even the most difficult shoeing issues. While back problems propelled him to launch his real estate career (“The doc told me God didn´t design me to have my head between my knees my whole life,” Bruce jokes), he continues his love of horses as a hobby.

Hi, I’m Charles Himschoot, a REALTOR® and Broker with Lansford Realty & Property Management and Regional Manager for the Greater Cleveland Area. I bring more than 20 years of construction experience and a strong background in sales and property management to my real estate career.
My family and I relocated to Southeast Tennessee in 2006, and I’ve enjoyed becoming part of the communities we serve. My construction background gives me a unique perspective when helping clients buy, sell, and manage properties, allowing me to see both the big picture and the details that matter.
As a rental property owner myself, I understand the importance of protecting an investment while providing quality service to tenants. I believe in treating every client with honesty, respect, and personal attention.

I love living and working in Tennessee and enjoy being outdoors, exploring our area, and staying involved in the community. I especially enjoy supporting our local schools during soccer season, you’ll often fine me at the concession stand helping out and cheering on the team!
My background in property management gives me a unique perspective on real estate and a strong understanding of what it takes to care for a property. I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and genuinely care about doing things the right way.
